My friend James Dylan Crowley posted on Facebook a Star Wars character drawing challenge. He assigned to me the Rancor from Return of the Jedi. I at first did a straight forward, cartoonish sketch of the character which just came out "meh." Then I thought I'd do one that's a bit more fun and much more cartoony of the Rancor relaxing, picking his teeth with the arm of the Gamorrean guard that he just ate. This one came out better, but I'm not completely happy with it.

Years ago, my brother Bob and I came up with a term for movies that our family loved and we called the list, "Apel Staples" (for those of you who don't know, Apel rhymes with Staple or Maple)
"Apel Staples" are basically movies are ultimate favorites from over the years for my parents, my brothers and myself. The list has grown now, since our families have grown to include our wives and kids, but the original list included many films by John Candy and in particular, Uncle Buck.
There are a huge list of great quotes from that movie thanks to Writer/Director John Hughes and the charming acting by John Candy.
The quote I chose to draw was from close to the end of the film. If you're a fan of the movie, you know exactly what this is referring to:
